My October Monthly Favourites

Hello beautiful, can you believe its November already? Im sure every year goes by faster than the last. Anyway today I am going to do my October favourites for you today.

Where do I begin?

One of my favourites this month is, (for those of you that know me well probably would have guessed this one would be first on my list). The Jaclyn Hill palette.

I have been loving this, there are so many looks you can create using this palette and the colours are so fall appropriate. The quality of this palette is amazing, I don’t get any fall out at all, the colours are so pigmented and easy to work with. They are so blendable and the colours compliment each other well. One thing I have noticed with this palette is that the eyeshadows oxidise for a while after you have applied them, this is not a bad thing just means I don’t need to use much of the product. The look gets darker a little while after using it. If you have this palette let me know if you have experienced the same thing. If not maybe its my primer? This retails at £37.00 on, and is worth every penny.

The next product hasn’t been out long but I have been trying and testing these and really love them. I did a review on these a couple of days ago, so please check that out. They are the No 7 Matte liquid lips. The reason these have quickly become my favourite is because of how moisturising they are and how they feel on the lips, I know right matte and moisturising doesn’t usually appear in the same sentence. These have amazing staying power, I apply mine with a brush. The colours are beautiful too. You can purchase these at or visit  No 7 counter in your local Boots.

Next up is my favourite duo. New looks lip scrub and the clarins lip oil.

I use the lip oil on my lips as i’m putting on my make up in the morning as a bit of moisturisation, but as the cold weather is starting, my lips can become very dry and cracked these two are amazing at helping me combat this. The scrub can be purchased from new look stores or there website for £3.99. The Clarins lip oil can be purchased from or £19.00 I believe. Alternatively you can pop into your local clarins counter in Debenhams, selected boots stores, jarrolds or house of fraser.

The next product is a bath product now this is amazing. It leaves me and my bathroom smelling amazing, I always feels so refreshed and relaxed after bathing in a bath full of these bubbles. You only need a capful of product, so this bottle would last you a while. Relax bath and shower concentrate retails at £20.00.

This is what the website says about the product.

Clarins’ concentrated cleansing treatment activates with the heat of a warm bath or shower—releasing the soothing, aromatic virtues of Basil, Camomile and Petit Grain. Relaxes tired muscles after a stressful day with a calming blend of St. John’s Wort, Linden and Valerian extracts. The lightweight lather is gentle enough for the most sensitive skin. Follow with Relax Body Treatment Oil for a complete at-home spa treat.

So these are my October favourites, let me know what you have been using and loving, during the month of October.

Until next time

Take care

Sam xx
